History author and guide John Bradbury will lead a tour of our listed building The Linen Rooms. Now home to R-Space Gallery, the property has witnessed over three hundred years of change, reflecting the social and political history that has profoundly shaped Lisburn. Discover who lived here and their connections to the city, as well as the events that influenced its past.
The tour begins at 2pm in R-Space and lasts approximately one hour. Free and open to all – no booking required. Simply arrive on the day and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear as, if the weather is kind, there will also be the option of a short walk around Lisburn to take in some key historic sites.
Our current exhibition Singing Threads by Eimear Magee will also be open from 11am–5pm. Arrive early to enjoy it before the tour kicks off. We look forward to welcoming you!
