This original print is from a text based series. Each image encapsulates a sentiment with my memories of CUBA; scrawled writings on walls faded with age, if you have been to Havana you know their reuse, upcycled heritage more from necessity than any modern vibe. This bright yellow with a copper accent and "rose red" ink is a sentiment and a popular gift for children, of all ages. The image is cut directly into a salvaged black or white floor tile from the recent refurbishment of the great hall at The National Trust's Mount Stewart property, and printed onto Irish linen. Each print is titled and signed in pencil.
