It’s official! We are now a registered charity.


R-Space Gallery have achieved another important milestone – we are now registered with The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland!

We would like to thank The Charity Commission, our funding partners, visitors and patrons and most importantly our amazing Board of Trustees for their hard work and support in this step forward in the provision of our cultural services to the City Of Lisburn.

As the nature and output of our charity is evolving, we will be recruiting shortly for additional Board Members – opportunities will be advertised on our website and social media in the coming months. Our current trustees are as follows:

Alan Clarke – Chair

Development Officer at Maze Longkesh & Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years industry experience. Includes 5 years at Lisburn City Centre management and involvement in Bridge Street Townscape Heritage Scheme. Alan also acts as a Voluntary Director at Lisburn Buildings Heritage Trust.

Norbert Sagnard

Director Digital Technology professional bringing 25 years of Corporate Governance and international marketing skills coupled with an interest in arts / culture and heritage.

Paul Beaton

Head of Careers, Wallace High School Lisburn with an interest in Arts Education and Outreach.

John Bradbury

Community Sector Development Officer with experience of handling media, press conferences, photocalls and social media in the disability / arts / culture sectors
